Noting the crocodile trap with some buffalo legs in it just out of frame, every splash (mostly from the bathing magpie geese) had me thinking I was about to die when I took this photo. I went down to Gayŋaru Wetlands (Town Lagoon) with only my zoom lens and the intention of doing some bird only photography. This scene kept distracting me and I had to play around with capturing it using a lens I'd never have chosen if I was planing on a landscape shot, I'm glad I only had the zoom lens otherwise I would have completely missed this shot and its currently one of my faves!
