Australian Landscape & Wildlife Photography | Laurence Ranking

Hi, I’m Laurence. I live and work on Yolŋu Country, in the remote town of Nhulunbuy — about 600km east of Darwin. I’m a landscape and wildlife photographer, drawn to big skies, wild places, and whatever wonderful critters will let me photograph them.

Three corellas clash mid-air on a power line, wings outstretched in a playful, feathered ballet.

About me

Photography has long been a passion of mine. Whilst I've experimented with many different types of photography over the years, I have always come back to landscapes and wildlife.

Photography is a constant reminder for me to slow down, listen, and truly look at the world around me.

I endeavor to capture and share the details or moments in nature that we don't always have the time or tools to be able to see.

Take a wander through some of my favourite captures below.
